It is only once a year
Little Candy Corn comes to visit.
So many people say they dislike him.
That is not very nice, is it?
 
There are so many things you do not know
about our friend, Little Candy Corn.
He is well over 100 years old,
the 1880’s is when he was born!
 
Through all these many years
he has stayed exactly the same.
The only thing that has ever changed,
well, just his name!
 
He was not always Little Candy Corn.
Instead, every candy corn that came to be,
was collectively named,
“Chicken Feed!”  
 
“Chicken Feed?!”  Yep!
Well toot my horn!
Who knew all candy corns were named
because they look like kernels of corn!?
 
Nowadays you might recognize it
as un-popped popcorn,
but nonetheless this is how
Little Candy Corn was born.
 
When Little Candy Corn was brand spankin’ new,
as far as candy goes, he was considered, “revolutionary!”
It took a team of people to make him
and instead of just one color, he had three!
 
Little Candy Corn is not bothered by the fact
that he is disliked by so many.
He knows how far he has come
and each holiday season he is ready…
 
to bring smiles to faces
and be a festive treat.
His goal is to be sweet
to everyone he meets.
 
Always be yourself, be colorful and sweet!
This #CandyCornAttitude cannot be beat!
