Penguin Plan
 
As you have probably heard,
penguins are not like other birds.
They are more fish than fowl,
but this does not make them scowl.
 
It is true, they cannot fly,
but they can soar,
just not through the air,
but in the water above the ocean floor.
 
They are different indeed.
They live in the cold, ice, and snow.
The water they swim in
is subzero.
 
Penguins are insulated
by their slippery feathers.
In harsh weather they often huddle up.
They always stick together. 
 
Both penguins care for their egg,
taking turns equally.
Sharing and caring together, 
as it should be.
 
Penguins are built
the way they are meant to be
so they can live in 
their chilly world happily.
 
Remember, be like a penguin
anytime you can.
Just chill and remember, 
what makes you different
is part of your plan…your Penguin Plan!
 
If you look closely, you will see,
like a penguin,
the things that make you different
are actually your strengths.
