Something we often say,
to those who are doing something
or going away.
 
“Good luck!”
A simple statement 
that folks share to be kind.
It’s something we say often and hear all the time.
 
While good luck is great,
a gesture shared with kind thought,
we rarely ever think about
if someone really needs good luck or not.
 
“Good Luck!”
I hope it goes well!”
“I hope it works out!”
If you stop and think about it…
good luck sounds a bit like doubt!
 
Maybe luck is not what we need at all,
when we take off on that new adventure or answer our call.
 
Maybe simply embracing that the outcome
is what it is meant to be,
is what we need to do
to help change the way we think, feel and see.
 
Trust yourself.
Trust your journey, too,
and always know that mistakes are lessons that help us learn.
A mistake is never you.
 
Every path we take,
every person we meet
is part of our story
and makes our life complete.
 
Never doubt who you are.
Never doubt your instincts.
Never doubt things will work out
just as they are meant to be.
 
Luck is not necessary.
Luck doesn’t even come into play.
