Does Someone Need a Hug?
 
There is absolutely 
no way, no how
that anyone out there
couldn’t use a hug right now!
 
Life gets tricky!
Life can be so hard.
A hug allows us
to let down our guard.
 
Hugs are reassuring.
Hugs can lighten our load.
It’s amazing how a simple hug
assures us we’re not alone.
 
Everyone needs a hug sometimes.
This is something we can’t forget.
Not everyone is as lucky as we might be.
How many hugs do they get?
 
What if they don’t get hugs,
not even one? 
Can you imagine life with no hugs?
None?!
 
We must keep this in mind
as we go through each day.
There are lots of times it could
help us to say,
 
“Does someone need a hug?
I certainly do!  
I’d be happy to give
a big hug to YOU!”
 
Even when strangers are not so nice,
we could all be a bit less smug,
if each time this happened, we simply thought,
“I bet they could use a hug.”
